Duke Blue Devil Blues

With the start of the new NCAA season I see the Duke Blue Devils are back to there winning ways. With multiple conference and tournament championships and a total of three National Championships Duke under Coach Krzyzewski. My first time seeing the Duke Blue Devils put in work was against Jerry "the shark" Tarkanian and the UNLV Running Rebels with Larry "Grandmama" Johnson and "Stretch Armstrong" Stacey Augmon. Then they beat the Michigan Wolverines with a wonderful pass from Grant Hill and an amazing shot by Christian Laettner.
Coach K has lead the Duke Blue Devils to one of the elite teams in college basketball. Not to mention all of the players he put in the National Basketball Association. Coach K has put over twenty of his players in the NBA and that's when I started thinking. Out of all the pro players he put in the league, why is Danny Ferry the only player to win a NBA championship? I mean yes Duke produces NBA talent with Deng, Boozer, Maggette and others, but Danny Ferry is the only Duke Blue Devil under the great legacy of Coach K help an NBA franchise win a championship. So I did some research because I thought either Gold Medalist Christian Laettner or Cherokee Parks won a championship with the Miami Heat, but no dough. Christian Laettner was only there till 2004 and Cherokee Parks. Well lets just say it's hard to google him, Danny Ferry was the only name that came up. Now I'm not writing this to say Coach K is a bad coach because he just won America a gold medal.
I'm writing this because I am beyond baffled about how can a team put so many great players in the league and none of them is yet to win a NBA championship. We all know if you really want your son to be a great player you send them to three colleges if they're good enough and that's North Carolina, Duke and UCLA, but if you want them to win a NBA championship. Send them to Carolina, UCLA or any other college besides Duke.
